Length of screw

The length of the screws depends on what joist the boards are installed on top of, if it is a wooden joist we recommend 40-60 mm long screws, which will have a better nail holding ability on the wood. If it is a 25mm or 30mm composite joist, then 30mm-35mm screws is preferred. On the other hand, if stainless steel clips are used, then 25mm screws are suggested for composite joist.

Screw head

The shape of the screw head will determine which driver bit the installer uses to turn the screw which mostly depends on market preferences. For example, if you sell square head screws, then make sure the fitter know it and they can have square driver bit to fit the project.

Screw tip

Self-tapping screws for wooden joists and self-drilling screws for steel or aluminum joists.

Screw colors
