Important Installation Notes
Allow Proper Ventilation
Maintain a minimum 20mm air gap beneath the decking surface to promote airflow and prevent moisture buildup.
Pre-Drill & Fasten
Always pre-drill pilot holes before screwing to prevent cracking, especially near board ends. Use stainless steel screws.
Expansion Gaps
Leave a 5-8mm gap between boards and 10-15mm at wall ends to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.
Support Spacing
Position joists at maximum 400mm (16") on center for residential applications to ensure structural integrity.
